Carla Portugal is biologist by background, with MS in Environmental Engineering focused on environmental impact assessment and recovery, and she is preparing to defend her PhD in Environmental Sciences focused in Natural Resources by Oregon State University in USA. Carla is guided by the passion of teaching and learning experiences targeted on connect academia development with its proper social sector, aiming to contribute to a better and fair world development. To achieve this life goal, Carla joined Dr. Elaine’s Soil Food Web School as mentor, researcher and Portuguese speaker translator/mentor. Inside the school, Carla guide students along their knowledge development about soil food web and its relevance to a naturally organic food production, increase the food and environment qualities. Living in the same city as Dr. Elaine, Carla can drink from the knowledge source on a more interactive way, including preparation for seminar, webinar, workshops, and consultancy.
