Jorge Alvaro-Fuentes is a Research Scientist at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) in the Soil and Water Department at the Aula Dei Experimental Station (EEAD-CSIC) in Zaragoza, Spain. His scientific career focuses on the effects of agricultural management on soil carbon and nitrogen dynamics and crop performance in Mediterranean conditions. During his scientist career he has participated and coordinated several national and international research projects. He has published more than 65 scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Alvaro-Fuentes has also published several papers in non-SCI journals, scientific reports and book chapters. He has carried out different research stays USA and UK. He has given several invited lectures in different national and international universities and research centres. He usually participates in extension activities for farmer associations and technicians.
