Sergio Castro-Silva is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ADVENTECH – Advanced Enviromental Technologies, Lda since 2008. He is also the Chief of R&D Department of this company. Coordinator of the development of new products and projects of WWTF’s (WasteWater Treatment Facilities). Graduate in Chemical Engineering by the University of Coimbra (1997). Since 1997 he has held different positions as quality technician, quality and environment director, coordinator of research teams and chief project engineer in several WWTFs in different companies . He is also specialized in the treatment of industrial gaseous effluents using Advanced Oxidation Processes. On Chemical and Environmental Engineering field cooperates on the training of young researchers. With publications on specialized journals, has participated in several scientific conferences.
